Leila Mian is a registered Social Worker, holding a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights and Women and Gender Studies from Carleton University.
Leila uses a client-centred, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach in her work with individuals and couples. She works primarily solution focused, brief therapy, and narrative therapy frameworks, incorporating elements of mindfulness based practice and an internal family systems approach.
She is a culturally sensitive, racialized woman of Pakistani and Canadian heritage. Leila has worked extensively in the community with diverse populations ranging from sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse survivors to youth and adults in the justice system, and high conflict couples.
Leila’s therapeutic approach consists of providing a safe and welcoming environment for her clients. She believes that her clients are the experts on their own lives and believes that holding space for her clients to feel empowered in the therapeutic process to achieve their fullest potential is the most important part of one’s therapeutic journey.

Phil identifies as a CIS Métis man born and raised on Treaty One Territory. Phil holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Manitoba, and is a Registered Social Worker with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. Phil is also currently enrolled at the University of Winnipeg in their Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) program and will be graduating in June 2025.
Phil is a systems-based therapist who utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, and specializes in understanding relationships and supporting the resolution of interpersonal difficulties. He provides services to families, couples, and individuals, and has facilitated therapy groups. He has experience working with BIPOC clients and the LGBTQIA2S community. He also has extensive experience with addictions treatment.
Phil's approach to therapy recognizes that the client is the expert in their own life; he views his job as helping his clients to reach their goals. His hope is that his clients walk away from their meetings together feeling better.
