At Ursa Psychology, we are committed to providing care that is grounded in evidence and tailored to you. Evidence-based practice means we integrate three things: the best available scientific research, the clinical expertise of our practitioners, and your own values and preferences.
We offer psychological treatments that have been shown to be effective for a wide range of concerns, always adapting them to fit your unique circumstances. Our work is guided by an intersectional lens—recognizing how factors like culture, identity, gender, and lived experience shape both challenges and strengths. This balance of science, skill, and compassion allows us to create treatment plans that are both effective and meaningful.

At Ursa, we’ve created a space that feels calm, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Our offices are designed with mid-century modern touches and thoughtful details that reflect our values of care and connection. We want you to feel at ease here, whether you’re waiting for an appointment, settling into session, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself.
Ursa Psychology is conveniently located in the Corydon Village Mall on Corydon Avenue in River Heights. There is ample parking available to clients in the mall lot as well as on side streets. Our offices are accessible to clients using wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Ursa Psychology is committed to being a safe space where clients can be their authentic selves.

Attachment-Based Approaches provide insight into how early experiences of trust and connection influence how partners respond to closeness, conflict, and vulnerability.
Specialized treatment is available for high conflict couples and couples who are adjusting to the unique challenges of new parenthood.

Group Therapy at Ursa:
At Ursa, we believe in the power of connection and community to foster healing and growth. Our group therapy programs provide a supportive, confidential space where individuals can share their experiences, learn from others, and develop tools for positive change.

Ursa Psychology operates on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anisininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Dene, and Inuit Peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis.
As a Métis-owned clinic, with several Métis clinicians on our team, we recognize that our ability to live and work on this land is tied to the ongoing impacts of colonization. We are committed to reflecting on how these systems continue to shape access to care and wellbeing.
At Ursa, we strive for excellence in care and are dedicated to advocacy that supports Indigenous rights, health, and self-determination. We honour Indigenous knowledge, strength, and resilience through our relationships, our practice, and our continued learning.
