Finding Hope and Connection Through Group Therapy A small, therapist-led group that helps adults understand depression, reduce isolation, and practice strategies for meaningful, sustainable change.

Living with depression can feel heavy and isolating, but connection changes everything. This 6-week online condensed depression treatment group provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can share experiences, learn evidence-based coping strategies, and build resilience.


Who This Group Is For:
This program is for adults who:

  • Are experiencing symptoms of depression such as low mood, loss of motivation, or withdrawal.
  • Want to connect with others who understand these struggles.
  • Are ready to explore tools for coping and recovery in a structured group format.
  • Value having both professional guidance and peer support.
     

What to Expect:
Over six weeks, this group will help you:

  • Understand depression and how it impacts your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
  • Learn and practice evidence-based coping strategies.
  • Build skills for self-compassion and resilience.
  • Share openly with others who are navigating similar challenges.
     

The group balances psychoeducation, skill-building, and supportive dialogue to promote recovery and hope.

  • Dates: Next sessions TBD
  • Time: Thursday late afternoon, 2:30pm-4:00pm
  • Format: Online (via secure video platform)
  • Cost: $130 per session; $780 total (eligible for insurance coverage under most plans)
  • Size: Limited to 8-10 participants
  • Scheduling: Groups begin once a full cohort of participants has been confirmed. You’ll be contacted with exact start dates when your group is ready to run.
